I did not know that divine teachers could be so young. My grandson, Milo, touched my heart with the knowing to serve. He directed my life's purpose.
My love to you Milo, and to your blessed parents and all who are touched by and who touch them. We have been transformed by your existence.
Love, grandma

Thank you to everyone who has sent us kind words of support and who have also made donations to SIDS research. This has resulted in several thousand dollars in donations which will accelerate the current research being done. You can help by educating friends, families and strangers on the risk of SIDS on the use of prevention strategies (see milosalomonis.org/
recommendations.html).

Dear Heather and Nathan,
I am a friend of Cyn's at Lucile Packard and we have shared many things together including the happiness and excitement of my grandson, Dylan, being born in April and Milo being born in September.
I was so very saddened by the loss of your darling son. I can see from your most touching website the love and joy you shared as a family. Please know that I have had you in my thoughts and prayers and may you forever feel the gift of joy that Milo brought to both of you.
Warmly, Sherry

We have never met you, but seeing little Milo's picture this a.m. in our Macon, GA paper brought us together in our hearts. What a precious child and reading your letter telling of such sweet memories was a blessing to us. All of you and especially Milo will touch thousands of hearts - what a treasure. May God bless you in ways that will be immeasurable and may He lift you and your husband high upon His shoulders. Also, a special prayer for Milo's grandparents - we have 2 grandsons, Kyler (4 years) and Ryder (2 years)-- we know that kind of love which one can not begin to explain. With love and prayers, Lynn and Danny Watson

You came into this world as an exciting surprise, disarming us all with your deep chocolate eyes.
squishy and soft, just a bundle of joy,
half mother half father; the perfect little boy.
giggling and groovin, then to sleep you would drift, as your parents watched over you; their most precious gift.
as you grew, so did thier love, three happy hearts beating as one.
I would give anything to be able to stop right here, we could all live happily ever after and not have shed a tear.
I would take down the earth and the stars if I could, to force life to go how I think it should.
Burning and raging won't bring you back, I won't let my sore heart turn to cold black.
I will look for you smile in the warmth of the sun, I will pass on your love to another loved one.
I will look at others through your innocent kind eyes, and never forget how fast time flies.
Needless to say you have opened my heart, so I'll keep you inside it, so we'll never be apart.

Dear Heather and Nathan, Missy shared your website with me, and I have just spent some wonderful time getting to "know" you and Milo. Thank you for sharing. Milo was one of the most expressive babies I've ever seen, and your letter was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing those thoughts, as well. I have no children, but I have always known that losing a child has to be the most painful thing that could ever happen to anyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. I can tell that you and your families are providing one another much needed strength at this very difficult time.
